No Revs No Maids, We Were Geeks (now everyone wants to talk to us), Mediocre, Another Day Wasted, Cabbage Farm, plus many more. Bonus material: Rehearsal recordings, Archive interview, and a live cover of Alice Donut's: Mother of Christ. 15 tracks in total. £6 (inc postage). |
We
Were Geeks (Now Everyone Wants To Talk To Us) is as good as its title suggests; the sort of song every fey indie kid in a band dreams of writing. At the risk of blurting, I'd call it a classic pop song; too good for any chart, and well worthy of your ears. Another Day Wasted blasts open with sledgehammer guitars, then slows up - the epic sound-scape of a generation reared on Crass, Zoundz, The Pistols and piss- poor marijuana. "Great Name, great art work, great attitude" - Repeat Fanzine. "What a breath of fresh air during the wave of 2nd rate pop punk at the moment to have some ‘proper’ Pistols style punk rear it’s ugly head" - Punkemon Fanzine. “Any group that makes me feel that sorta rush has got something special!” - Chris WheelChair, ‘Ruptured Ambitions’. |
